## Overview
Learning Notes let you jot down your thoughts, key takeaways and reminders directly against a Learning as you work through it. Keeping your notes alongside the Learning itself makes note-taking more integrated and efficient, and gives you somewhere to look back on what you learnt. This article covers adding a Learning Note to an assignment (content, an Event or a Form) in **My Learning**.

> **Good to know:** Your notes are private to you and are saved against that specific Learning, so you can reopen the **Learning Notes** panel any time to read or update them.

## Things to keep in mind
* A note title is optional — you can save a note with just its content.
* Notes are tied to the Learning you created them on and appear whenever you reopen that Learning.
* You can create as many notes as you like on a single Learning, and edit or delete them later from the **Learning Notes** panel.

## FAQs
**Where are my Learning Notes saved?**
Against the individual Learning you created them on. Open the Learning from **My Learning** and click the **Learning Notes** icon to see them again.

**Can I edit or delete a note later?**
Yes. Reopen the **Learning Notes** panel on that Learning, open the note, and either update its content or delete it.

**Can anyone else see my notes?**
Your Learning Notes are personal to you. A People Manager, Admin or Owner may review notes as part of a learner's record, but other learners cannot see them.

## Who can do this
Any learner can add Learning Notes to the Learnings assigned to them — this includes **Employees**, **Restricted** users and every other role. In addition, a learner's **People Manager**, and **Admins** and **Owners**, can add notes on that learner's behalf.
