## Overview

The Library is where your organisation's content lives. Controlling who can access it lets you keep sensitive or internal material in front of the right people, align visibility with roles and responsibilities, and avoid exposing content to your whole organisation before it's ready.

You control this from a single setting, **Who can access the library?**, which offers three access levels: **Everyone**, **Managers & Admins**, or **Admin Only**.

## How to control Library access

1. Go to **Settings → Library**.

## Things to keep in mind

* This setting controls who can access the **Library** as a whole — it is separate from the access controls for **Knowledge** and **Roadmaps**, which live under **Settings → Features**.
* Content assigned directly to a learner remains available to them regardless of this setting — it governs browsing the Library, not learning that's already been assigned.

## FAQs

**What do the three access levels mean?**
**Everyone** lets all users browse the Library, **Managers & Admins** limits it to Managers and Admins, and **Admin Only** restricts it to Admins (and Owners).

**Where is this setting?**
It's under **Settings → Library**, in the **Library Content** section.

## Who can do this

**Owners** and **Admins** can change Library access settings — the whole **Settings** area is restricted to those two roles. **Managers**, **Instructors**, **Employees** and **Restricted** users cannot open Settings and so cannot change this.
