## Overview

Each customer account has a detail page in the Partner Portal where you can keep its core information and billing contacts up to date. From here you can update the account's name, platform name and language, and change the support and billing email addresses on its subscription. The subscription card also shows plan and seat information for reference — those figures are handled with SuperPath directly rather than changed from the portal, so this article is clear about what you can and can't self-serve.

## How to edit a customer's information

1. Go to **Partner Portal → Accounts** and open the account you want to edit to reach its detail page.
2. On the right, find the **Information** card and click **Edit**.
3. In the "Edit {organisation} Information" modal, update any of **Organisation Name** (required), **Platform Name** (required) and **Language**.
4. Click **Save Changes**.

## How to edit a customer's subscription details

1. On the account's detail page, find the **Subscription** card on the right.
2. The card *displays* the account's Plan Name, Status, Seats Used, Billing Email, Plan Type and Payment Method for reference.
3. Click **Edit** to open the "Edit {organisation} Subscription" modal.
4. Update the **Support Email** and/or **Billing Email** — these are the only editable fields.
5. Click **Save Changes**.

> **Note:** The **Subscription** card shows the plan, plan type, status and seats used so you can see them at a glance, but from the Partner Portal you can only edit the support and billing email addresses. The plan and seat count can't be changed here.

## Things to keep in mind

* **Plan, plan type and seat count are read-only in the Partner Portal.** They're shown for reference on the Subscription card, but the portal only lets you edit the support and billing emails. To change a plan or seat count, arrange it with SuperPath directly.
* The **Information** card and the **Subscription** card are edited separately — organisation name, platform name and language live on Information; support and billing emails live on Subscription.
* Both **Support Email** and **Billing Email** are required and must be valid email addresses when you save the Subscription changes.
* The detail page also has a **Paid Content** action (its tooltip reads "Paid Content", and it opens "Manage Purchased Content for {organisation}"). This grants an account access to purchasable content rather than editing billing — see "How to Manage Your Partner Content Library" for sharing content with accounts.

## FAQs

**Can I upgrade or downgrade a customer's plan from the Partner Portal?**
No. The plan, plan type and seat count are displayed for reference only. To change a customer's plan or seats, contact SuperPath directly.

**What can I actually change on the Subscription card?**
Only the **Support Email** and **Billing Email**. Everything else on the card is read-only.

**Where do I change the account's name or platform name?**
On the **Information** card (not the Subscription card). Click its **Edit** link to update the Organisation Name, Platform Name and Language.

**What is the Paid Content button on the detail page?**
It opens "Manage Purchased Content for {organisation}" and is used to grant an account access to purchasable content. It's separate from billing — see "How to Manage Your Partner Content Library".

## Who can do this

Editing a customer's information and subscription details is a Partner Portal action, available to administrators of a Partner account — typically the **Owners** and **Admins** of the partner organisation. The Partner Portal is only visible within a Partner account (regular customer accounts don't see it) and is hidden from **Restricted** users. Changing a plan or seat count isn't possible from any role in the portal — that's handled with SuperPath directly.
