## Overview
The quickest way to bring people into your organisation is to send them an email invitation. You enter one or more email addresses, choose the role they'll have, and SuperPath emails each person a branded link to set up their own account. This article covers the **Invite People** option — if you'd rather add someone without emailing them, or add lots of people at once, see "How to Add a Person and Assign Them Learning" and the bulk add/update articles.

## How to invite people
1. Go to **People** and click **Add People** in the top-right corner. This opens a dropdown with three options: **Invite People**, **Manually Add Person** and **Bulk Add / Update People**.
2. Click **Invite People** to open the **Invite People** modal. It reads: "Enter the email addresses of those you want to invite and select their role".

3. In the **Enter email addresses** field, type an email and press enter to add it. Repeat to invite several people at once (placeholder: "Type an email and press enter").
4. Choose a role under **Select a role (required)**.
5. Optionally choose a team under **Select a team (optional)** — this is only shown if your account uses Teams.
6. If your account has access expiry enabled, you can optionally set an access-expiry date.
7. Click **Send Invite**. Each person receives a branded invitation email with a link to set up their account.

> **Tip:** Each invited person sets up their own account from the email link — see "How to Accept an Invitation and Set Up Your Account" for what they'll experience.

## Things to keep in mind
* The role and team you choose apply to everyone in that single invite. If people need different roles or teams, send separate invites.
* If an email address has already been invited, you'll see a note like "{email} has already been invited" and the rest of the invitations still send.
* If your plan has a fixed number of seats and they're all in use, the invite form is replaced by a message: "You do not have enough seats available to invite new users to your account". You'll need to free up a seat or expand your plan. Many accounts have expandable seats.
* You can review invitations you've already sent by clicking **View invites** on the **People** page (see "How to Resend an Invitation").

## FAQs
**Can I invite several people at once?**
Yes. In the **Enter email addresses** field, type each email and press enter to add it, then send them all together. Everyone in a single invite gets the same role and team.

**Can people in one invite have different roles?**
No — one role and one team apply to the whole invite. Send separate invites for people who need different roles or teams.

**What happens after I send an invite?**
Each person receives a branded invitation email with a link to set up their own account. You can resend an invitation later from **People → View invites** if needed.

**I've run out of seats. What do I do?**
If all your seats are in use, the invite form shows an upgrade message instead. Free up a seat or expand your plan to invite more people.

## Who can do this
**Owners** and **Admins** can invite people to your account. **Managers**, **People Managers**, **Content Managers**, **Instructors**, **Employees** and **Restricted** users cannot.
