# How to Show Public Events in the Library

**In this article:**

* How to show events in the Library
* Things to keep in mind
* Who can do this

## Overview
Events are your workshops, training sessions, webinars and other scheduled sessions. Turning on **Enable events in Library?** lets people see any Events that have been marked for the Library and register to attend them, so your Library becomes a place to discover live learning as well as on-demand content.

This is an account-wide setting on the **Library** tab in **Settings**.

## How to show events in the Library
1. Go to **Settings → Library**.
2. Find the **Library Content** section.
3. Switch on **Enable events in Library?**.
4. A save bar appears at the top of the page — click **Save**.

## Things to keep in mind
* Enabling events in the Library lets people view any marked Events (workshops, training sessions, webinars and so on) in the Library and register to attend them.
* This is an account-level setting that applies to your whole Library, not to an individual Event.
* Nothing is saved until you click **Save** — if you toggle the switch and leave the page without saving, the change is discarded.

## Who can do this
Only **Owners** and **Admins** can change Library settings. The **Settings** area — where the Library tab lives — is only available to Owners and Admins, and saving a Library setting requires the same permission. **Managers**, **Content Managers**, **People Managers**, **Instructors**, **Employees** and **Restricted** users cannot.
