# How to Use the Company Dashboard

## Overview
The Company Dashboard gives you a whole-platform view of learning across your organisation. It has two tabs: **Learnings** shows what needs attention right now, and **Engagement** shows how things are trending over a period you choose. This article covers the **Learnings** tab, which opens by default: the summary cards and the full learning-progress table covering everyone.

## How to open the Company Dashboard
1. From the left-hand menu, open **Dashboard**.
2. At the top right, use the switcher to choose **Company Dashboard**.

You can move between **My Dashboard**, **Team Dashboard** (if you manage people) and **Company Dashboard** using the same switcher.

## The Learnings and Engagement tabs
Under the dashboard title are two tabs:

* **Learnings** is this dashboard: current state, covering what needs attention now.
* **Engagement** is the trend view: participation, active users, completions, estimated learning hours, the learning funnel and your top learning content, over a date range you choose and compared with the period before it. See the separate *How to Use the Engagement Dashboard* article.

Switching between **Team Dashboard** and **Company Dashboard** keeps whichever tab you are on, so you stay on the same kind of view as you change scope.

## What's on the Learnings tab
Along the top are four summary cards:

* **Learnings In Progress** — learnings currently underway across the platform.
* **Overdue Learners** — learnings past their due date.
* **Completed Learnings** — completions in the last 30 days, with a comparison against the previous period.
* **New assigned learnings** — learning assigned to people in the last 30 days, with a period comparison.

The two comparison cards read from the same figures as the **Engagement** tab, so the two tabs can never show you different numbers for the same window.

## The Company Learning Progress table
The bottom of the dashboard is the **Company Learning Progress** table — every learner and their assigned learnings across the whole platform. You can:

* Filter by status using the tabs (**All**, **In Progress**, **Not Started**, **Overdue**, **Due in 7 days**, **Completed**), each showing a live count.
* Search, sort by column, and page through the results.
* Use the row actions (the **⋮** menu) to **Change due date** or **Delete learning** where you have permission.
* Export the table to CSV — see the separate *How to Export the Dashboard Learning-Progress Table* article.

## Things to keep in mind
* The Company Dashboard covers your entire platform. For just your own direct reports, use the **Team Dashboard** instead.
* The summary cards are driven by the table's status counts, so they stay in step with the tabs.
* There's no activity chart on this tab. Trends live on the **Engagement** tab, which keeps this view purely about what needs attention now.
* This dashboard is only available when the dashboard is enabled for your platform.

## FAQs
**What's the difference between the Company and Team dashboards?**
The Company Dashboard is platform-wide, covering every learner. The Team Dashboard is scoped to the people who report to you. Both have the same two tabs.

**Where do I get the chart-based trend view?**
Click the **Engagement** tab under the dashboard title. It replaced the old Company Analytics page, and old links to that page now open it automatically.

**Why can't I see the Company Dashboard option?**
The Company Dashboard is available to Owners and Admins. If you manage people you'll be taken to your **Team Dashboard** instead, and otherwise to **My Dashboard**.

## Who can do this
The Company Dashboard is available to **Owners** and **Admins**. Anyone else is redirected: users with at least one direct report go to their **Team Dashboard**, and everyone else to **My Dashboard**. **Restricted** users don't have the dashboard at all. Row actions on the Company Learning Progress table (changing a due date or deleting a learning) are further limited by your permissions on the assignment or Pathway; completed learnings can only be deleted by **Owners** and **Admins**.
