## Overview

The Partner Portal is where resellers and parent organisations manage their customer accounts from one place. From it you create new customer accounts, set the defaults every new account inherits, look after the people and content inside each account, and share your own content library with the customers you choose.

You'll find it as its own **Partner Portal** section near the bottom of the left-hand menu, with three areas beneath it: **Accounts**, **Content** and **Settings**. The section only appears if your own account is a Partner account.

## What's in the Partner Portal

### Accounts

**Partner Portal → Accounts** lists every customer account you manage, with a count in the heading, a search box and a **Show Disabled** tick box for bringing hidden accounts back into view. **Create New Account** sits in the top right, and each active account's row has a **Disable customer** action.

Clicking an account name opens its detail page, which is the hub for that one customer. From there you can:

* Work through the account's records using the **Users**, **Teams**, **Pathways**, **Events**, **Forms**, **Content**, **Roadmaps**, **Knowledge** and **Integrations** tabs.
* Use **Add User To Account**, **Account Settings** and **Paid Content** across the top of the page.
* Keep the account's **Information** and **Subscription** cards up to date on the right.

### Content

**Partner Portal → Content** is your own Partner content library. You add content here, mark items as available to your customers, and sync copies of them down into the customer accounts you choose.

### Settings

**Partner Portal → Settings** holds the defaults that every new customer account inherits when you create it — platform name, support email, timezone and language, plus which features are enabled and your theme and branding. Once an account exists you can log into it and change any of these per account.

## A good order to work in

1. Set up **Partner Portal → Settings** first, so the defaults are right before you create anything.
2. Create the customer account from **Partner Portal → Accounts**. All you need is the organisation name — everything else comes from your Partner Settings.
3. On the new account's detail page, add the people who need access and adjust its **Information** and **Subscription** details.
4. Use **Partner Portal → Content** to make your content available to customers, and sync what they need into their libraries.

## Things to keep in mind

* Partner Settings are applied **at the moment an account is created**. Changing them later doesn't retro-fit accounts you've already created — you adjust those individually.
* **Plans and seat counts can't be changed from the portal.** The Subscription card shows them for reference, but only the support and billing email addresses are editable. Plan and seat changes are arranged with SuperPath directly.
* **Add User To Account** adds an existing person from your master Partner account. To add someone brand new to a customer account, invite them from inside that account instead.
* Disabling a customer account cancels its subscription and blocks its users from signing in. Nothing is deleted, but **there's no re-enable button in the portal** — contact SuperPath support to bring a disabled account back.

## FAQs

**Why can't I see the Partner Portal in my menu?**
The **Partner Portal** section only appears when the account you're signed into is a Partner account, and it's hidden from **Restricted** users. If you believe your organisation should have it, contact SuperPath.

**Do I need to set up Partner Settings before creating accounts?**
It's much easier if you do. New accounts inherit your Partner Settings as they're created, so getting the defaults right first saves you configuring each account by hand.

**Can I change a customer's plan or add seats myself?**
No. Those are shown for reference on the account's Subscription card but arranged with SuperPath directly.

**What's the difference between making content available to customers and syncing it?**
Marking an item available lets it be granted to an account through **Paid Content**; syncing copies the item straight into the libraries of the accounts you pick. See *How to Manage Your Partner Content Library*.

## Who can do this

The Partner Portal is a Partner-account feature, available to administrators of a Partner account — typically the **Owners** and **Admins** of the partner organisation. Its visibility is driven by the account itself rather than by a single role permission: the section only appears when the account you're signed into is a Partner account, and it's hidden from **Restricted** users. Customer accounts created through the portal don't see a Partner Portal of their own.
