Overview
Connecting SuperPath to Slack lets your organisation receive SuperPath notifications directly in Slack, so your learners stay up to date without leaving the tools they already use. You set the connection up once at the organisation level from the Integrations settings.
How to connect Slack
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Hover over the Slack tile and click View Details.
- Click Add to Slack.
- In the Slack authorisation screen, review the access requested and click Allow to authorise SuperPath to communicate with you in Slack.
- Once the connection is successful you are returned to SuperPath and the Slack tile shows a confirmation that it is connected.
How to disconnect Slack
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Hover over the Slack tile and click Manage.
- Click Disconnect from Slack and confirm.
Things to keep in mind
- Slack is connected once for your whole organisation, so everyone benefits from the same connection.
- You can disconnect at any time from the Slack integration details.
FAQs
Do I need to reconnect Slack for each person?
No. The connection is set up once at the organisation level and applies across your organisation.
Can I remove the connection later?
Yes. Open the Slack integration under Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect from Slack.
Who can do this
Owners and Admins can connect and disconnect Slack. Access to Settings is limited to these roles, and the Integrations tab additionally requires permission to manage integrations, which only Owners and Admins have. Managers, Content Managers, People Managers, Instructors, Employees and Restricted users cannot.
