Admin Mark As Complete

Admin Mark as Complete

SuperPath allows administrators to manually mark learnings as complete on behalf of learners. This is useful when a learner has completed training outside the platform, when records need to be backdated, or when an admin needs to correct or update progress.

Recent upgrades have expanded what's possible when marking completions, giving admins more control over the date, score, and level of detail recorded.

Who can use this

Admins and Owners with the appropriate permissions can mark completions across content, pathways, forms, and events.

How to mark a pathway or learning as complete

  1. Navigate to any learning list — this includes the Content list, Pathways, Forms, or Events.
  2. Click the Quick View Report icon next to the relevant learning item.
  3. You'll see a list of learners assigned to that learning.
  4. Find the learner and select Mark as Complete.
  5. Choose a completion date — you can select today's date or any earlier date.
  6. Confirm. SuperPath will mark the learning as complete on the specified date. For pathways, all steps inside the pathway will also be marked as complete.

How to mark an individual step within a pathway as complete

  1. Open the learner's record and navigate into the relevant pathway.
  2. Locate the specific course or step you want to mark.
  3. Select Mark as Complete at the step level.
  4. If the step is a course, you'll have the option to enter a score and passmark before confirming.

This is useful when a learner has completed one part of a pathway externally, or when only specific steps need to be updated without affecting the rest of the pathway.

Setting a score and passmark

When marking a course complete — either as a standalone item or as a step within a pathway — you can now record the learner's score and whether they passed.

Enter the score percentage and the required passmark, then confirm the completion. The score will appear on the learner's record and will be reflected in reporting.

Where this works

Mark as Complete with these enhanced options is available across:

  • Content (via the Quick View Report or Managed Library)
  • Pathways (at the pathway level or individual step level)
  • Forms
  • Events

Things to keep in mind

When you mark a full pathway as complete with a specific date, all steps within that pathway are also marked complete on that date.

When marking an individual step within a pathway, the pathway itself will only show as complete once all required steps are marked.

Score and passmark fields are available for course-type steps. They are not applicable to forms or events.
