AI Course Builder - How to Convert a Video to Course

The purpose of this article is to guide users on how to use the AI Course Builder by converting a video to a course. You'll learn the process of converting your existing videos into a comprehensive learning experience.


To convert a video to a course follow the steps below:



  • STEP 1 - To begin, locate the SuperPath navigation menu on the left side of your screen and select "Library." Once you're in your Library, click the "Build Course" button, which you'll find in the upper right corner of the page.

  • STEP 2 - Click "More Options" to expand the menu and find the "From Video" choice, which is essential for beginning your video-to-course conversion.

  • STEP 3 - To begin course creation, upload your video file directly onto this screen to initiate its conversion into an interactive lesson. Alternatively, you can utilize the video as a reference point for generating a course based on your custom instructions.

Once you've uploaded your file the screen will look like this while its processing



  • STEP 4 - Press continue to move on to the next page


and configure the lesson

  1. Images: Choose between AI-generated, Web, Stock, or None.
  2. Interactivity: Use the slider to set the level of interactivity.
  3. Language & Length: Adjust the detected language and the overall lesson length (auto-decided by AI or custom).
  4. AI Image Provider & Style: Select the AI model for images and specify their style (e.g., "photorealistic").
  5. Page & Tile Types: Define the types of pages and content tiles to include.
  6. Citations & Document Images: Opt to add citations and/or use images directly from your source document.



  • STEP 5 - After pressing Generate Storyboard, the AI will process the video to generate a storyboard for your lesson. You can begin reviewing the storyboard and editing it to suit your needs. After reviewing and revising, click Generate Lesson to convert the Storyboard into a Lesson.



While generating you can edit your lesson




  • STEP 6 - For images that have not completely generated, you will see the prompt in place of the image, just click generate to generate the image.


  • STEP 7- After the lesson has been generated you can find it autosaved in your SuperPath library where you can edit everything from course itself or the settings of the content
