Overview
Tags are free-text keywords you attach to a piece of content to make it easier to find. Adding tags to your content improves search and helps your people surface the right resource quickly in the Library. You can add tags when you first add content and change them at any time from the content's edit panel.
How to add or edit tags
- Open the content item from your Library and open the Edit content panel (the pencil icon on the right-hand toolbar).
- Scroll to the Tags field near the bottom of the panel.
- Type a tag and press Enter to add it. Repeat for as many tags as you need.
- To remove a tag, click the cross on the tag.
- Click Save changes to save.

Tip: Adding tags will make your content easier to find, so it is worth adding a few relevant keywords to every item.
Things to keep in mind
- Tags are free text — there is no fixed list, so keep your wording consistent (for example, always "onboarding" rather than sometimes "new starter") so related content groups together.
- Tags are one of the fields SuperPath searches, so they directly affect what your people find in the Library.
