Overview
When you want every person in your organisation to complete the same Pathway, you don't have to add them one by one. SuperPath assigns learning to people and Teams, and assigning to a Team hands the Pathway to every member of that Team in a single action. To reach everyone, assign to a Team that contains all your people — most organisations use a Dynamic Team whose criteria match every learner (see the Dynamic Teams article). There is no separate "assign to everyone" button; the Team is what represents everyone.

How to assign a Pathway to everyone
- Go to Pathways.
- Find the published Pathway you want to assign. The Assign icon is only available once a Pathway is Published — if it's still a draft, publish it first.
- Click the Assign icon in the Pathway's row actions to open the Assign to people & Teams dialog.
- In the search box, type the name of the Team that represents everyone (for example an all-staff Dynamic Team) and select it. Selected entries show a Team badge so you can tell people and Teams apart.
- Choose Assign now to assign immediately, or Schedule later to set a future date (and, optionally, a recurring schedule).
- Optionally set a Start date and Due date, and use Notify people to email everyone about their new Pathway (you can include a custom message).
- Click Assign.

Tip: If you don't yet have a Team that includes everyone, create a Dynamic Team first with criteria that match all your learners, then assign the Pathway to that Team. New joiners who meet the criteria are picked up for future assignments automatically.
Note: Use Exclude users or teams (under Advanced) if you want to assign to everyone except a specific person or Team.
Things to keep in mind
- You can only assign a Pathway once it is Published — the Assign icon is disabled on drafts.
- Assigning to a Team expands to that Team's current members at the moment you assign. For a static Team, people added later won't be assigned retrospectively; a Dynamic Team keeps its membership up to date and picks up new matching learners for future assignments.
- Only active people are assigned — disabled accounts in the Team are skipped.
- By default a person who already has an active copy of the Pathway is not re-assigned. Turn on Reassign even if incomplete if you need to reset everyone's assignment.
- Very large assignments are processed in the background, so it can take a little while for every learner's Pathway to appear.
FAQs
Is there a single "assign to everyone" button?
No. SuperPath assigns to people and Teams, so "everyone" is represented by a Team that contains all your people — usually a Dynamic Team matching every learner. Assign the Pathway to that Team and every member receives it.
Will people who join later get the Pathway automatically?
If you assigned to a Dynamic Team, new learners who meet the Team's criteria are picked up for future assignments. A one-off assignment to a static Team only covers the people who were members at the time you assigned.
Can I assign to everyone except a few people?
Yes. Open Advanced and use Exclude users or teams to leave specific people or Teams out of the assignment.
Do I have to notify everyone?
No. The Notify people toggle controls whether assignees are emailed. Leave it off to assign quietly, or turn it on and add a custom message.
Who can do this
Owners, Admins, Managers, Content Managers and Instructors can assign Pathways from the Pathways library. People Managers, Employees and Restricted users have read-only access to Pathways and cannot assign them.
