Overview

Deleting a Pathway removes it permanently from your Library. You can only delete a Pathway that is not in use — if it still has learnings assigned to learners, you will need to remove those first. This guide walks through the steps and explains how to resolve the error you may see if the Pathway is still in use.

How to delete a Pathway

  1. In the main navigation, open Content, then select Pathways.

  1. You will see a list of the Pathways you can manage.

  1. Find the Pathway you want to delete.

  1. On the right-hand side of its row, click the trash icon.

  1. A confirmation window appears, asking whether you are sure you want to delete the Pathway.

  1. Click Confirm delete.

Things to keep in mind

  • You can only delete a Pathway that has no assigned learnings.
  • If the Pathway still has learnings assigned, you will see this error message: "Pathway cannot be deleted as it is being used in one or more active learning pathways".

  • To proceed, first remove all the learnings from the Pathway — you can bulk delete them from the quick view — and then delete the Pathway.
