Overview
Favouriting is a quick way to bookmark the content that matters to you so you can find it again without searching. When you favourite a content item it is saved to your own personal Favourites list, ready to jump back into whenever you need it. Favourites are private to you — marking something as a favourite does not change it for anyone else, and no one else can see what you have favourited.
Use it to keep a shortlist of the courses, videos, articles and other resources you return to often.
How to favourite a content item
- Go to your Library and open the content item you want to favourite.
- At the top of the content page, next to the title, click the heart icon. Its tooltip reads Add to favourites.

- The heart fills in to show the item is now saved to your Favourites. To remove it again, click the filled heart (its tooltip now reads Remove from favourites).

Tip: Favouriting is a toggle — click the heart once to add, and again to remove. There is no confirmation step, so you can change your mind at any time.
Things to keep in mind
- Favourites are personal to your own account. Favouriting content does not affect what your colleagues or learners see.
- The heart is a simple on/off toggle — a filled heart means the item is in your Favourites, an outline heart means it is not.
- Favouriting does not assign, start or complete any learning. It is only a bookmark.
- You can favourite any content item you are able to view in your Library.
FAQs
Who can see the content I have favourited?
Only you. Favourites are stored against your own profile and are not visible to other users.
Does favouriting a content item assign it to me?
No. Favouriting only bookmarks the item so you can find it again. It does not start, assign or complete any learning.
How do I remove something from my favourites?
Open the content item and click the filled heart icon again — it toggles straight off, with no confirmation.
Who can do this
Anyone who can view a content item can favourite it — Owners, Admins, Managers, Content Managers, People Managers, Instructors, Employees and Restricted users. Favourites are personal to each user's own account.
