Overview
As you build a Form or quiz you'll often want to change the order questions appear in, or remove ones you no longer need. Both are done directly in the question builder while editing the Form.
Reorder questions
- Open the Form you want to edit — you'll land in the question builder in edit mode.
- Find the grip handle at the top of a question card.
- Drag the question up or down to its new position and drop it. The new order is saved automatically.

Good to know: You can also reorder the answer options within a Multiple choice or Checkbox question — drag each option by its handle.
Delete a question
- In the question builder, click the question you want to remove so it's selected.
- Click the trash icon at the bottom of the question.
- When asked "Are you sure you want to delete this question?", click Confirm delete.

Tip: To reuse a question rather than rebuild it, use the copy (clone) icon next to the trash icon to duplicate it, then edit the copy.
Things to keep in mind
- Reordering and deleting are only available while editing the Form.
- Deleting a question removes it from the Form — it can't be undone, so remove with care.
- To remove a single answer option rather than a whole question, use the ✕ beside that option instead.
FAQs
How do I change the order of my questions?
Drag a question by the grip handle at the top of its card and drop it in the new position. The order saves automatically.
Can I undo a deleted question?
No. Deleting a question is permanent, so double-check before you confirm.
Can I duplicate a question instead of rebuilding it?
Yes. Use the copy (clone) icon on the question to duplicate it, then edit the copy.
Who can do this
Owners, Admins, Managers, Content Managers and Instructors can reorder and delete Form questions. People Managers, Employees and Restricted users have read-only access and cannot change a Form's questions.
