How to Use Roadmaps in Workflows
Overview
The Workflows engine in SuperPath allows you to automate learning experiences across your organisation. With the addition of Roadmaps as triggers and actions, you can now automatically assign and manage career progression pathways. This helps ensure the right people receive the right learning at the right time — without manual effort.
Why use Roadmaps in Workflows?
Using Roadmaps in Workflows allows you to:
- Automate onboarding and role-based learning
- Keep learning aligned with role changes
- Reduce manual admin and oversight
- Create structured, scalable career development pathways
- Support continuous learning progression
Step-by-step: Assign a roadmap when a user joins
- Go to Settings → Workflows
- Click Create Workflow
- Select Trigger: User joins
- Add a condition (e.g. Role contains “Customer Service”)
- Add an Action: Assign roadmap
- Select the relevant roadmap (e.g. Customer Service Representative)
- (Optional) Set a due date
- Enable notifications
- Save and activate the workflow
✅ The roadmap will now be assigned automatically to matching users.
Step-by-step: Update a roadmap when a role changes
- Create a new workflow
- Select Trigger: Profile updated
- Add a condition (e.g. Role contains “Team Lead”)
- Add an Action: Assign roadmap
- Choose the appropriate leadership roadmap
- Save the workflow
✅ Users will automatically transition to the correct roadmap when their role changes.

- Create a new workflow
- Select Trigger: Roadmap completed
- Choose the relevant roadmap
- Add one or more actions:
- Save the workflow
