Using Graded Forms in SuperPath

Graded Forms allow you to validate learner knowledge by setting pass marks and controlling attempts on forms. This feature extends learning validation beyond courses, enabling you to assess understanding across documents, articles, events, and more.

Why use Graded Forms?

Graded Forms help you:

  • Ensure learners understand key content
  • Add accountability to non-course learning
  • Reinforce important policies and knowledge
  • Track performance with measurable outcomes
  • Create structured learning experiences within pathways

They’re especially useful when learning content doesn’t sit inside a traditional course.

⚙️ How to create a Graded Form

Step 1: Open the Forms Builder

  • Navigate to Forms in SuperPath
  • Create a new form or edit an existing one (this can also be done when adding a new form inside a learning pathway)

Step 2: Add your questions

  • Choose question types:
    • Multiple choice
    • Multi-select
  • Define the correct answers for each question

Step 3: Enable grading settings

In the Settings panel, configure:

  • Pass percentage (e.g. 80%)
  • Retry limit (e.g. 5 attempts)

Once enabled:

  • Learners must meet the pass mark to complete the form
  • They are limited to the number of attempts you set

Step 4: Attach the form to a pathway (optional)

  • Open a Learning Pathway
  • Add your content (document, article, etc.)
  • Attach the form as a knowledge check

NOTE: You can also assign a form individually to users without being inside a learning pathway.

Step 5: (Optional) Add workflow steps

Enhance your process with workflows:

  • Require manager approval
  • Add review steps
  • Trigger actions based on completion

Step 6: Publish and assign

  • Publish your pathway
  • Assign it to learners or teams

📊 Viewing results and reporting

You can track performance in two ways:

Quick View

  • See learner scores
  • View pass/fail status
  • Check number of attempts

Detailed Analytics

  • Dive deeper into responses
  • Identify trends and gaps
  • Export results for reporting

💡 Best practices

  • Use graded forms after key content to reinforce learning
  • Keep questions clear and aligned to objectives
  • Set realistic pass marks (e.g. 70–85%)
  • Limit retries to maintain integrity
  • Combine with workflows for accountability

🚀 Example use cases

  • Policy compliance checks
  • Post-event knowledge validation
  • Article comprehension tests
  • Onboarding pathways with checkpoints

✅ Summary

Graded Forms give you the flexibility to validate learning anywhere in SuperPath — not just inside courses.

They help you move from passive consumption to active, measurable learning.
