Additional Settings for a Step or Content in a Pathway
The purpose of this article is to explain the additional settings available for steps or content in a SuperPath pathway. It provides guidance on configuring options such as "Required," "Has prerequisite," "Due Date," "Auto-complete if previously completed," and adding "Additional Information." This ensures pathway content can be customised to meet specific learning objectives and streamline the learner's experience.
To view the additional settings for a Step or Content in a Pathway, click on the system icon to open the settings panel.

The first setting is 'Required'. If you have this set to the on position, the learner will need to complete the step to complete the pathway.

Next, we have 'Has prerequisite', you would set this to the on position for any learning after the first step whereby you need a learner to complete it before this step. When in the on position, you will be asked to select the step that they need to complete before this one.

The 'Due Date' when in an on position will allow you to set a specific date that this step must be completed by or the number of days after assigned it should be completed by.

Finally, we have 'Auto complete if previously completed', if this is set to the on position, any content that has been completed outside of a pathway will be marked as completed. This is especially handy if learning is available as an individual module in the library as well as in a pathway. Setting to on means that anyone assigned the pathway who had completed the step earlier won't have to redo the learning.

If you have additional instructions for the step that are not suitable to be put in the description, you can include them in the 'Additional Information' section. These could be instructions or further details to enhance the learning of this step.
