Overview

Your login page is the first thing employees see when they access SuperPath, so it's a good opportunity to make a strong first impression. By adding your own background image — alongside your logo and brand colour — you can make the login page feel like part of your organisation and give people a branded, welcoming start to their learning.

The custom login page lives on the Theme settings tab, together with your logo and primary colour.

How to set your custom login page image

  1. Go to Settings → Theme.
  2. Scroll to the Custom Login Page section.
  3. Click the image area to set a background image.
  4. Choose to upload your own image, search Unsplash, or pick an image from your Image Library.
  5. If uploading, select the file from your computer.
  6. Click Save on the bar at the top of the screen.

Note: The background image should be landscape. It expands to fit the browser window, so the visible area changes depending on the user's screen size.

How to preview your login page

The login page is only shown to signed-out users, so you'll need to log out to see your changes.

  1. Click your profile image or initials in the top-right of the screen.
  2. Click Logout.
  3. You'll now see the login page exactly as your end-users will, complete with your image, logo and brand colour.

The Custom Login Page section also shows your login page URL, which you can share with your users.

Things to keep in mind

  • The Custom Login Page section only appears once you've uploaded a logo and set a primary colour — both are needed to enable it.
  • You'll need to log out to preview the page; changes aren't visible while you're signed in.
  • Custom branding is only available on paid accounts. If you don't see the Theme options, your account will show a message about upgrading.

FAQs

Where do I set the logo and brand colour?
On the same Theme tab. See Uploading a Logo and Icon and How to Set Your Brand's Primary Colour — both are required before the Custom Login Page option appears.

What size should the image be?
Use a landscape image. It scales to the browser window, so avoid important detail near the edges that might be cropped on smaller screens.

Why can't I see my new login page?
You need to be signed out to see it. Log out and open your login page URL to check.

Who can do this

Owners and Admins can set the custom login page. Managers, Content Managers, People Managers, Instructors, Employees and Restricted users cannot — the Settings area is restricted to Owners and Admins. Custom branding is also a paid-account feature, so the Theme options only appear where it has been enabled.
