Overview

SuperPath can run under your own business domain using a custom subdomain — for example learning.yourcompany.com instead of the standard SuperPath address. This gives your users a seamless, branded experience, with future communications from SuperPath pointing to your chosen subdomain. Custom subdomains are available with a paid SuperPath subscription.

Setting up a custom subdomain is a guided process done together with our support team — it isn't a self-serve toggle inside the app. The steps below walk through what happens and what you'll need to do.

How a custom subdomain works

When you use a custom subdomain, you choose a subdomain (e.g. learning.yourcompany.com) that points to our custom.superpath.io address. We use a secure reverse proxy to manage this connection, so all traffic continues to flow through our Web Application Firewall (WAF), powered by Cloudflare, for robust security.

How to set up your custom subdomain

1. Request your subdomain. Contact our support team with the subdomain you'd like to use. This lets us make the necessary platform updates for security.
2. SuperPath internal setup. Our team configures our system to prepare for your custom subdomain.
3. Add a CNAME record. We'll ask you to add a CNAME record to your domain's DNS settings, pointing your chosen subdomain (e.g. learning.yourcompany.com) to custom.superpath.io. We'll confirm the exact subdomain with you.
4. Notify SuperPath. Once you've added the CNAME record, let our support team know.
5. SuperPath activation. We'll verify the record and then activate the custom domain for your account.

To make your custom subdomain work, you'll add a CNAME record to your DNS settings. This usually means logging into your domain registrar (where you bought your domain) or your DNS hosting provider.

Any account Owner or Admin can request a custom subdomain from our support team. SuperPath verifies the record and activates the subdomain on our side.
