Overview
A person's profile photo (their avatar) appears next to their name across SuperPath. When someone has no photo, their initials are shown instead. You can upload or replace a photo from their profile.

How to change a person's profile photo
- Go to People and open the person's profile.
- In the profile card on the right, click the avatar (a pencil icon appears when you hover over it).
- In the Change Avatar window, click Upload photo and choose an image.
- Click Save.

The new photo replaces the old one straight away.
How to remove a profile photo
- Open the Change Avatar window as above.
- Click Remove avatar.
- Click Save.
With no photo set, the person's initials are shown in place of an avatar.
Things to keep in mind
- Images must be .jpg or .png files, smaller than 500Kb.
- The photo updates immediately when you save.
- People who have never uploaded a photo appear as their initials until one is added.
FAQs
What file types and sizes are allowed?
JPG and PNG images up to 500Kb.
How do I go back to just initials?
Open the Change Avatar window, click Remove avatar, then Save. The person's initials show in place of a photo.
Why isn't my image uploading?
Check it's a .jpg or .png and under 500Kb. Larger files or other formats won't be accepted.
Who can do this
Owners and Admins can change any person's profile photo. Managers and People Managers can change the photo of people who report to them. Content Managers, Instructors, Employees and Restricted users can only change their own profile photo.
