Overview

A Team avatar is the picture shown next to a Team's name, making it easy to recognise at a glance across SuperPath. You can set one from the team's page using an uploaded file, a photo from Unsplash, or an image from your Library.

How to set a Team avatar

  1. Go to Settings → Teams and open the team.
  2. Click the avatar next to the team name.
  3. Choose where the image comes from:
    • Upload an image — upload a file from your device.
    • Choose from Unsplash — browse or search Unsplash's free image library.
    • Choose from Library — pick an image already in your Library.
  4. Select the image you want. It's applied to the team straight away.

Tip: You can also pick one of the suggested images shown in the picker, or clear the current image to fall back to the team's default initial.

Things to keep in mind

  • The avatar is set from the team page, not from the Edit Team window (which covers the team's name, status, parent team and managers).
  • If a team has no avatar, SuperPath shows the first letter of the team name as a placeholder.
  • Changing the avatar takes effect immediately — there's no separate save step.

FAQs

Where do the images come from?
You can upload your own file, browse or search Unsplash's free photo library, or reuse an image from your Library.

How do I remove a Team's avatar?
Clear the current image from the picker — the team falls back to its default initial.

Can I set the avatar while creating the team?
No. The avatar is set from the team page once the team exists; the Create Team window doesn't include an avatar field.

Who can do this

Owners and Admins can set the avatar for any Team. A Manager, People Manager, Content Manager or Instructor can set it for a Team where they are its Primary Manager. Employees and Restricted users cannot.
