Overview

When you first create your SuperPath account, a guided setup checklist helps you get everything configured and start exploring the platform. The page is headed Your quick setup guide and greets you with: "Let's get you started on your journey! Follow each of the tasks below to ensure you configure your account and start to explore the amazing features to empower your teams learning journey". Each task is a card that takes you straight to the place in SuperPath where you complete it, so you can work through your account setup step by step.

How to open your setup checklist

  1. Click Setup Checklist in the sidebar to open the checklist page.
  2. Alternatively, go to Settings → General and use the Onboarding checklist setting to reopen it (see "How to Reopen the Setup Checklist").

How to work through the tasks

Each card shows a task title, a short description of what it does, and a button that jumps to where you complete it. Work through them in any order — the recommended starting tasks are listed first, followed by a few extras to help you get more from SuperPath.

The starting tasks are:

  1. Complete the "Learning SuperPath" pathway — click Start pathway to open it in your learning.
  2. Add your own learning content to the Library — click Add content to go to the Library.
  3. Create your first learning pathway — click Create pathway to go to Library pathways.
  4. Assign learning content to yourself or others in your team — click Browse library to go to the Library.

Under the divider "Why not try these additional tasks to help you really leverage the power of SuperPath", you'll find:

  1. Add a team member to SuperPath — click Invite people to go to People.
  2. Create your first team — click Create team to go to Settings → Teams.
  3. Connect to Slack — click Connect Slack to go to Settings → Integrations.
  4. Comment on a team member's learning assignment — click View Learnings to go to Reports → Learnings.

As you complete each task — for example once you've created a Pathway, invited someone, created a Team, or connected Slack — SuperPath detects it automatically and replaces that task's button with a green tick. Your progress is remembered against your own account, so you can leave and come back to finish the remaining tasks whenever you like.

Tip: You don't have to finish the checklist in one sitting. Complete a task now and the rest will still be waiting for you next time you open the page.

Things to keep in mind

  • Completion is detected automatically — there's no "mark as done" button. Once the underlying action is done (for example a Pathway created or Slack connected), the task shows a green tick.
  • Your progress is saved to your own account, so completed tasks stay ticked across sessions and devices.
  • The checklist is a guide to help you get started; you can use any of these features directly at any time, whether or not you go through the checklist.

FAQs

How do I mark a task as complete?
You don't need to — SuperPath detects it for you. When you perform the underlying action (such as creating a Pathway or connecting Slack), the task's button is replaced by a green tick.

Where do I find the checklist again if I close it?
Click Setup Checklist in the sidebar, or go to Settings → General and use the Onboarding checklist setting to reopen it.

Do I have to complete every task?
No. The checklist is there to help you get started — you can complete as many or as few tasks as you like, and you can always come back later.

Who can do this

The setup checklist is shown to the account Owner — the person who created the account. Other roles don't see the checklist. Note that some individual tasks it links to (for example inviting people or creating Teams) are themselves Owner and Admin actions.
