Overview
Roadmaps let you build and assign learning and career roadmaps to your teams. Controlling who can access them keeps roadmap visibility aligned with your organisation's needs — for example, letting leadership build and manage roadmaps without exposing works in progress to every employee.
You set this with the Who can access Roadmaps? control, which offers three access levels: Everyone, Managers & Admins, or Admin Only.
How to control Roadmaps access
- Go to Settings → Features.

- Scroll to the Roadmaps section.

- Under Who can access Roadmaps?, choose an access level: Everyone, Managers & Admins, or Admin Only.

- Click Save.

Things to keep in mind
- The access control only appears once Roadmaps is enabled on your account. If you don't see it, switch Roadmaps on first in the same section.
- Knowledge has its own separate access control in the Knowledge Base section, and the Library is controlled under Settings → Library. Setting one doesn't change the others.
FAQs
What do the three access levels mean?
Everyone lets all users access Roadmaps, Managers & Admins limits it to Managers and Admins, and Admin Only restricts it to Admins (and Owners).
Why can't I see the access setting?
Roadmaps must be enabled first. The Who can access Roadmaps? control only shows when the feature is switched on.
Who can do this
Owners and Admins can change Roadmaps access settings — the whole Settings area is restricted to those two roles. Managers, Instructors, Employees and Restricted users cannot open Settings and so cannot change this.
