Overview

Once you've finished setting up your account — or if you'd simply rather not see it — you can hide the setup checklist so it no longer appears in your sidebar. Hiding it is a personal preference saved to your own account, and you can always come back to the checklist later from Settings whenever you want to review your progress.

How to hide the setup checklist

  1. Open the checklist by clicking Setup Checklist in the sidebar.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the checklist and click Hide checklist. The helper text below the button reads: "Once hidden, you can revisit the checklist anytime from the Settings section".
  3. You'll be returned to your dashboard, and the Setup Checklist shortcut disappears from the sidebar.

Note: Hiding the checklist only hides it for you. It doesn't remove it for anyone else on the account.

Things to keep in mind

  • This setting is saved to your own account, so the checklist stays hidden across sessions and devices.
  • Hiding the checklist is per-user — it doesn't hide it for anyone else.
  • After hiding, the Setup Checklist link no longer appears in the sidebar. You can still reach the checklist page from Settings → General (see "How to Reopen the Setup Checklist").

FAQs

Will hiding the checklist delete my progress?
No. Any tasks you've already completed stay completed. Hiding simply removes the checklist from view.

Can I get the checklist back after hiding it?
Yes. Go to Settings → General and use the Onboarding checklist setting to open it again. See "How to Reopen the Setup Checklist".

Does hiding the checklist affect other people on my account?
No. This is a personal setting — hiding it for yourself doesn't hide it for anyone else.

Who can do this

The setup checklist — and therefore the Hide checklist option — is only shown to the account Owner, the person who created the account. Other roles don't see the checklist, so there is nothing for them to hide.
