Overview
If someone has shared a registration link with you, you can create your own account and join their learning platform — you don't need an invite or an existing account. You open the link, confirm who you are with a sign-in method, fill in a short form, and submit. Depending on how the page is set up, you either go straight into the platform or wait for someone to approve your request.
Opening the registration link
Open the registration link in your browser. It leads to a registration page branded for the organisation, usually with a welcome heading and a short message. If the page is available, you'll be asked to sign in first.

Signing in
Choose one of the sign-in methods the page offers. You may see one or more of:
- Google — sign in with your Google account.
- Microsoft — sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Email and password — enter your email, then choose and confirm a password, and click Continue.
Signing in confirms your identity so your registration is tied to a verified email. If the page uses the email-and-password method and approval isn't required, you'll also be sent a verification link after signing up — it won't hold up your registration.
Completing your details
Once you've signed in, complete the registration form:
- Your Email is already filled in from the identity you just signed in with, and can't be changed here.
- Enter your First name and Last name (both required).
- Fill in any other fields the page asks for — these may include Position, Location, Employee ID, a team to join (Select your team), and any custom fields. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
- Click Submit registration.

After you submit
What happens next depends on how the page is configured:
- Instant access — your account is created and you're taken straight into the platform's dashboard.
- Awaiting approval — you'll see a confirmation, Thanks — you're almost there, letting you know your registration is awaiting approval. You'll be emailed when it's been reviewed, and can log in once you're approved.

If registration is closed or your email isn't accepted
- Registration is closed — if the page has been turned off or the link is no longer valid, you'll see Registration is closed. Check with whoever shared the link.
- Can't register with this email — some pages only accept certain email addresses (for example, a work domain). If yours isn't accepted, you'll be told, and you can go back and try a different email.
Things to keep in mind
- You don't need an existing account or an invitation — just the registration link.
- Your email comes from the sign-in method you use and can't be edited on the form, so sign in with the address you want on your account.
- If you already have an account with that email, you'll be asked to log in instead of registering again.
FAQs
Do I need an account before I can register?
No. The registration link is all you need — you create your account as part of the process.
Why can't I change my email on the form?
Your email is taken from the sign-in method you used, so it's already verified. To use a different email, sign in with that email instead.
I submitted but I'm not in yet — what now?
The page you used requires approval. Your request has been saved and someone will review it. You'll get an email when it's been reviewed, and you can log in once you're approved.
My email wasn't accepted — why?
Some registration pages are limited to specific email addresses, such as a company domain. If yours isn't accepted, go back and register with an accepted email.
Who can do this
Anyone with the registration link can register — no existing account or invitation is needed. The only restriction is that some pages accept only certain email addresses (for example, a specific work domain); if a page is limited that way, you'll need to register with an accepted email.
