How to Restrict Account Access to a Single Authentication Type


Overview

This setting allows you to enforce one specific login method for all users in the account, improving security and consistency.


Requirements

  • Only the Owner can access and configure this setting.


Steps

  1. Log in as Owner (Only owner can setup this) - Make sure you are logged in using an Owner account.
  2. Go to Security Settings **- Navigate to **Security in your account settings.


  1. Find “Enforce Authentication Type” - Locate the Enforce Authentication Type option.


  1. Enable the Setting - Turn on (enable) this option.
  2. Select Authentication Type(s) – Choose one or more login types you want to enforce (e.g., Google, Password).
  3. For example, if we select both Password and Magic Link, the login options will appear like this. is one if when we choose only email / password for login
