Overview

Your primary colour is the accent colour SuperPath applies across the platform — to buttons, links and icons — so the experience matches your brand. You set it under Custom Colour on the Theme settings tab, with a live preview so you can see how it will look before you save.

How to set your primary colour

  1. Go to Settings → Theme.
  2. In the Custom Colour section, click the colour swatch next to Primary colour to open the colour picker.

  1. Pick a colour — choose one of the preset swatches or enter your own value. The preview panel on the right updates to show an example button, link and icons in your chosen colour.
  2. Click Save changes on the save bar at the top of the screen to apply, or Discard to undo.

Once saved, the new primary colour is applied across the platform.

Things to keep in mind

  • A darker colour is recommended, as it provides a better user experience — lighter colours can be hard to read against white backgrounds.
  • Custom branding, including the primary colour, is only available on paid accounts. If you don't see the Theme options, your account will show a message about upgrading.
  • The primary colour is one part of your theme. The Theme tab also covers your logo, favicon, custom login page and dashboard banner — see What can I change in themes? for the full picture.

FAQs

Where does the primary colour show up?
It's applied to accent elements across the platform, such as buttons, links and icons. The preview on the Theme tab shows examples of each.

Why can't I see the colour options?
Custom branding is a paid-account feature. If your account isn't on a paid plan, the Theme options are hidden and you'll see an upgrade message instead.

What colour should I choose?
We recommend a darker shade of your brand colour for better contrast and readability across the app.

Who can do this

Owners and Admins can set the primary colour. Managers, Content Managers, People Managers, Instructors, Employees and Restricted users cannot — saving theme changes requires permission to update account settings, which those roles don't have. Custom branding is also a paid-account feature, so the options only appear where it has been enabled.
