Steps and Sections in Pathways
The purpose of this article is to explain the concepts of "Steps" and "Sections" in SuperPath pathways. It provides step-by-step instructions for adding sections, grouping content, and organising steps within a pathway. This ensures users can structure pathways effectively to create clear, organised, and engaging learning experiences.
A 'Step' is a content component that you'd like to add to a pathway. This could be a course, a video, a PDF or even a pathway. When you want to group a selection of steps (content) into a group, you would put these into a 'Section'.
Click on '+Add Section' to add a section to your pathway.
Update the name of the Section to the title you want to give your section and add a description.
Once you have your section set, go to the '+' within that section and click on it to add the content or the 'Steps'.
Click "Add content"
Search for and add your content by clicking the '+' icon next to the content title.
This will add the content within the Section.
Add additional sections, and steps within that section by following the same process.
Here we've added an additional section and more content or steps.
You don't have to have sections in your pathways, content or steps can be added by clicking on the '+Add Step' icon at bottom left.
Click 'Add Content' to locate and the required content.
You can see from the image below that the sections and each individual step are all located within the shaded boxes, making it easy to identify what is and isn't within each step.
