Overview

SuperPath is hosted in three regions: the United States, Australia and Europe. Each account is hosted in one of them, so you can keep your organisation's data in the region that suits where your organisation and your people are based, or the one your data-protection requirements call for.

Each region has its own web address, and you sign in to your account at that address:

Region

Sign-in address

United States

app.superpath.io

Australia

app-au.superpath.io

Europe

app-eu.superpath.io

Choosing your region

Your region is chosen when your account is set up. When you work with the SuperPath account team to set up your account, tell them which region you would like to be in and they will create your account there.

If you are not sure which region is right for you, talk it through with the account team before your account is set up.

How to tell which region your account is in

Look at the address you use to sign in. app.superpath.io is the United States region, app-au.superpath.io is Australia and app-eu.superpath.io is Europe. If your organisation signs in on its own custom domain, contact our support team and we'll confirm your region.

Things to keep in mind

  • Integrations use region-specific settings. Some integrations, such as Employment Hero, ask you to enter a SuperPath address when you set them up. Always use the address for your region, as each integration's article explains. An address for a different region will not work.
  • The API has a base URL per region. If you build on the SuperPath API, use https://api.superpath.io (United States), https://api-au.superpath.io (Australia) or https://api-eu.superpath.io (Europe). See the developer documentation overview.
  • Everyone in your account shares its region. People you invite, or who join through a registration link, join your account in the region it is already hosted in.

FAQs

Can we move our account to a different region later?
Your region is set when your account is created. If you need to move to a different region later, contact our support team to talk it through.

Which region should we choose?
Choose the region that matches where your organisation is based, or where your policies require your data to be held. The SuperPath account team can help you decide when you set up your account.

Who can do this

Your account's region is chosen with the SuperPath account team when your account is set up, so there is no setting to change it in the app. Anyone in your account can see which region they are in from the address they sign in at.
