Overview

Bulk Import lets you quickly bring existing documents — policies, SOPs, guides and reference material — into SuperPath as Knowledge articles. It's ideal for teams migrating from another system, cleaning up legacy content, or rapidly building out an internal knowledge base. SuperPath uses AI to structure your documents for readability while keeping your original wording intact, so nothing is summarised or reworded.

Who can do this

Owners, Admins, Managers and Content Managers can create and import Knowledge articles. People Managers, Instructors, Employees and Restricted users have read-only access and cannot import articles.

Supported file types

You can upload PDF (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), plain text (.txt) and Markdown (.md) files. Upload up to 10 files at a time, and for best results keep each document to around 10 pages or fewer.

How to bulk import Knowledge articles

1. Go to Knowledge → Manage Articles in the sidebar.
2. Click Create article, then choose Import.
3. In the Import window, add one or more files from your computer. You can remove or replace files before importing.

4. Click Import. SuperPath uploads each file and structures it into a readable article, showing progress as it works.
5. Once processing finishes, your new articles appear at the top of the Knowledge Articles list as drafts. Open any article to review the content, adjust the formatting, add tags, or assign it to a Pathway.

Note: Processing may take a short time depending on how many files you upload and how large they are.

Things to keep in mind

• Imported articles are created as drafts — review and publish them when you're ready.
• Content is formatted for readability, not summarised or rewritten, so your original wording is preserved.
• Tables and structural elements are retained wherever possible; clearly structured source tables import most reliably.
• If you're importing a large backlog, split it into batches of up to 10 files.

FAQs

How many files can I import at once?
Up to 10 at a time. For a larger backlog, import in batches of 10.

Does the AI change my content?
No. The AI adds structure and formatting for readability but keeps your original text — it does not summarise or reword it.

What happens to my imported articles?
They're created as drafts at the top of the Knowledge Articles list, ready for you to review, tag, and publish.
