Overview
Knowledge articles can be shown either as a grid of tiles with cover images, or as a compact list. The grid is the more visual layout and is good for browsing; the list packs more articles onto the screen and is quicker to scan when you already know roughly what you're after.
The choice is yours alone — it changes what you see, not what anyone else sees, and SuperPath remembers it for next time.
How to switch between grid and list view
- Click Knowledge in the left-hand navigation to open the Knowledge homepage.
- Open the category you want to browse, or run a search from the Knowledge homepage. Either takes you to a list of articles.

- Above the articles on the right-hand side you'll see two small buttons — a list icon and a grid icon. Click the list icon for the compact list, or the grid icon for tiles.

Whichever button is filled in shows the layout you're currently in. Your choice takes effect straight away — there's nothing to save.
Things to keep in mind
- Articles are shown as a grid by default.
- Your choice is remembered in the browser you're using, so it carries across categories and searches and is still there next time you sign in on that browser. Switching to a different browser or device starts again from the grid.
- Changing the layout only affects your own view. It doesn't change what your colleagues see.
- The list layout shows each article's Title and Category; the grid layout shows cover images.
- The Featured articles row on the Knowledge homepage is always shown as tiles and has no view switcher.
FAQs
Where is the view switcher?
Above the article list, on the right-hand side. It's a pair of small icon buttons — a list icon and a grid icon. You'll only see it once you've opened a category or run a search, not on the Knowledge homepage itself.
Does switching the view change what other people see?
No. It's a personal preference, stored in your own browser.
Why has my view gone back to the grid?
Most likely you're on a different browser or device, or your browser storage has been cleared. The preference is saved per browser, so just switch it again.
Can I set the default layout for everyone in my organisation?
No — there's no account-wide setting for this. Everyone starts on the grid and can switch for themselves.
Who can do this
Anyone who can see Knowledge can switch between grid and list view — Owners, Admins, Managers, Content Managers, People Managers, Instructors and Employees, subject to your account's Knowledge access setting under Settings → Features. Restricted users have no access to Knowledge.
