How to Add an Announcement
The purpose of this article is to guide users on how to add an announcement to their SuperPath dashboard. These announcements are vital because they immediately capture users' attention upon login, ensuring critical updates and key information are seen front and center.
To add an announcement follow the steps below:
- STEP 1 - On the left side of the platform select Settings, afterwards choose the Features tab, scroll down to find the Dashboard section.
- STEP 2 - Enable Dashboard Announcements to allow announcements to appear on the users' dashboards.
- STEP 3 - To create an announcement, click manage announcements, you will be brought to the announcements settings, click Create announcement.
- STEP 4 - After clicking create announcement a new window will pop up allowing you to put down the necessary information for your announcement. From Title to Description, you can also restrict the announcement to certain teams. This window also allows you to put an image for your announcement. You can also add a button for your announcement and link it to a website. Lastly, you could also insert a video for your announcement just simply paste its URL.
