Overview

The Learners Report gives you a person-by-person view of learning activity. Each row is a learner, summarising how many active Learnings they have, how many are overdue, their average progress and how much was self-assigned versus assigned by someone else. From here you can drill into any learner to see everything they're enrolled in and its status.

How to run the report

  1. In the left-hand menu, open Reports.
  2. On the Reports page, click the Learners Report tile.
  3. Choose a Team to report on — leave it on All for the whole company, or pick a specific Team.
  4. Tick Include disabled users if you want disabled accounts included.
  5. Click Generate.

What the report shows

The results table has one row per learner, with these columns:

  • Name — the learner (disabled accounts are badged).
  • Active — how many Learnings are currently active (not yet completed).
  • Overdue — how many are past their due date and not completed.
  • Avg Progress — their average progress across all Learnings, shown as a bar.
  • Self Assigned — how many Learnings they assigned to themselves.
  • Assigned — how many were assigned to them by someone else.
  • Completed — how many they have completed.

Use the search box above the table to filter by name or email, and sort by any column.

Viewing an individual learner

Click a learner's name to open a panel listing every Learning they're enrolled in, with its progress, due date and completion date. Use the tabs across the top — All, In Progress, Not Started, Overdue, Due in 7 days and Completed — to focus on a particular status.

Exporting

  • From the list — click the Export button above the table to choose which columns to include and download a CSV of all learners (see How to Export a Report to CSV and How to Choose Which Columns to Export). The export can include First Name, Last Name, Email, Active Learnings, Self Assigned Learnings, Assigned By Others, Overdue Learnings, Average Progress and Completed Learnings.
  • For one learner — open a learner's panel and click Export there to download just that learner's Learnings.

Things to keep in mind

  • The report doesn't load automatically — choose your Team (or leave it on All) and click Generate to run it.
  • Disabled users are excluded by default; tick Include disabled users to include them.
  • Managers and People Managers see only their own direct reports and Teams; Owners and Admins see everyone.

FAQs

What counts as "active"?
Any Learning the person is enrolled in that they haven't completed yet.

What's the difference between Self Assigned and Assigned?
Self Assigned counts Learnings the learner chose for themselves; Assigned counts Learnings someone else assigned to them.

Can I export just one person's learning?
Yes — open the learner's panel and use the Export button inside it.

Who can do this

The Learners Report is reached from the Reports page, which is available to Owners, Admins, Managers and People Managers. Managers and People Managers see only their own direct reports and Teams, while Owners and Admins see everyone. Content Managers, Instructors, Employees and Restricted users don't have access to the Reports area.
