Overview

Every activity feed post has its own page, and you can copy a direct link to it in one click — handy for pointing a colleague straight at a particular update rather than asking them to scroll the feed.

  1. Open your Dashboard and find the post in the activity feed.
  2. Click the Link action beneath the post (the link icon).
  3. SuperPath copies the post's link to your clipboard and shows "Link copied to clipboard".
  4. Paste the link wherever you need it.

Note: On mobile the same control is labelled Copy link.

The link opens that single post on its own page (a /dashboard/feed/ address). Anyone who opens it needs to be signed in to your platform and have access to the dashboard to view it.

Things to keep in mind

  • Copying uses your browser's clipboard, so your browser may ask for clipboard permission the first time.
  • The link points to a signed-in page — it isn't a public URL, and it won't work for someone without access to your platform.
  • The Link action is only available where the activity feed is shown, which depends on the social feed being enabled for your platform.

FAQs

Where does the copied link take people?
To the individual post's own page on your platform. The recipient has to be signed in and have dashboard access to see it.

Nothing seemed to copy — what happened?
If your browser blocks clipboard access you'll see a "link not copied" message. Allow clipboard access for the site and try again.

Who can do this

Anyone who can see the activity feed can copy a post's link — all signed-in users with the dashboard and social feed enabled. Restricted users, who don't have the dashboard, are the exception.
