Overview
Deleting an Event removes it permanently from your platform. You can only delete an Event that is not being used in any active learning — if it is assigned or included in a Pathway, SuperPath blocks the deletion until you remove it from that learning first. This article walks you through deleting an Event and resolving that error if you hit it.
How to delete an Event
- Go to Content → Events.

- You will see the list of Events you can manage.

- Find the Event you want to delete and, in its row, click the trash icon.

- When the confirmation appears asking Are you sure you want to delete this event?, click Confirm delete.

Things to keep in mind
- You can only delete an Event that has no active learning attached to it. If the Event is assigned or used in one or more active Pathways or learning assignments, you will see this error:
Event cannot be deleted as it is being used in one or more active pathways or learning assignments
- To proceed, first remove the Event from the Pathways and learning assignments that use it (for example, by bulk-deleting the related assignments from the quick view), then delete the Event.
- Deletion is permanent — there is no undo.
