Overview
The learning-progress table at the bottom of the Team and Company dashboards can be exported to a CSV file, so you can work with the data in a spreadsheet or share it. The export respects whatever filter you have applied — the status tab and any search — so you can export just the slice you're looking at, or the whole set.

How to export the table
- Open the Team Dashboard or the Company Dashboard and scroll to the learning-progress table.
- Optionally narrow the data first: click a status tab (All, In Progress, Not Started, Overdue, Due in 7 days or Completed) and/or type in the search box.
- Click the Download button in the table header (the download icon, top right).
- While it prepares, the button shows a live percentage as it gathers the rows. When it's finished, your browser downloads the CSV automatically.
Good to know: The export gathers the full set that matches your current tab and search — not just the page you're looking at — so a large team may take a few seconds.
What the CSV contains
The file has one row per learning, with these columns: First Name, Last Name, Email, Learning Type, Title, Status, Assigned By, Date Assigned, Date Completed, Date Due and Percentage Complete.
Things to keep in mind
- The export reflects your current tab and search — change them first if you want a different slice.
- Exports are capped at the first 50,000 rows. If your filtered set is larger, you'll be told, and the file will contain the first 50,000 — narrow it with a tab or search to get a smaller, complete set.
- If the data changes while the export is running, you may see a notice that only some of the rows could be exported; just run it again.
- The "learnings" set is the union of assignments, Pathway steps and Pathways, so the row count can be larger than the number of learners.
FAQs
Does the export include everyone, or just the visible page?
It includes the full set that matches your current tab and search — not just the page on screen.
Can I choose which columns to export?
No. The dashboard export uses a fixed set of columns (listed above). For a report you can tailor, use the Reports area.
Why is my export limited to 50,000 rows?
That's a safety cap. If your set is bigger, apply a status tab or a search to bring it under the limit and get a complete file.
Who can do this
Anyone who can open the dashboard's learning-progress table can export it — that means Owners and Admins (via the Company Dashboard) and Managers with direct reports (via the Team Dashboard, scoped to their team). Users who can't reach these dashboards — including Content Managers, People Managers and Instructors without direct reports, plus Employees and Restricted users — can't export the table.
