Overview

The Learnings By Date and Status report lets you track the completion status of learning across your people or Teams within a chosen date range. It's what other systems often call a "completion report": pick the statuses, dates, learning items and people you care about, and SuperPath returns a row for each person against each learning item, showing where they've got to.

How to generate a completion report

  1. In the left-hand menu, open Reports and click the Learnings By Date and Status tile.

  1. In the Search Criteria panel on the right, choose the Status values to include — Not Started, In Progress, Awaiting Approval, Declined, Completed, or All. You can select more than one.

  1. Set the Dates you want to report on. You can filter by Date Assigned and, when Completed is included, by Date Completed — each offering This week, Last week, This month, Last month, or a Custom from/to range.

  1. Under Learnings, either tick Include all learnings for selected people or teams, or choose a type (Content, Event, Pathway or Form) and search for and select the specific learning items to report on. Then, under People or Teams, search for and add the people or Teams to include.

  1. Once your criteria are set, click Generate.

Saving and exporting

After generating the report you can Save it to reopen later with the same criteria, Edit the criteria to re-run it, or Export it to a CSV (with a column picker) for further analysis.

Things to keep in mind

  • You must select at least one Team or person, and either specific learning items or Include all learnings for selected people or teams, before Generate is enabled.
  • The status options are Not Started, In Progress, Awaiting Approval, Declined and Completed (or All) — there is no separate "Overdue" status in this report; overdue items appear under their underlying status.
  • Tick Include disabled users in the People or Teams section if you want disabled accounts counted.
  • Managers and People Managers can only report on their own direct reports and Teams.

FAQs

Is this the same as a "completion report"?
Yes. The Learnings By Date and Status report is the SuperPath equivalent of what other systems call a completion report.

Can I report on everyone at once?
Instead of picking each item, tick Include all learnings for selected people or teams and add the people or Teams — the report then covers all their assigned learning.

Can I export the results?
Yes — click Export after generating to download a CSV, and use the column picker to choose which columns to include.

Who can do this

Owners, Admins, Managers and People Managers can reach the Reports area and generate this report. Managers and People Managers see data only for their own direct reports and Teams, while Owners and Admins can select anyone. Content Managers, Instructors, Employees and Restricted users do not have access to the Reports area.
