Overview

The Team Dashboard gives managers a focused view of the people who report to them: how many of their team's learnings are in progress, overdue, completed or not started, a Daily Active Users chart for the team, and a learning-progress table scoped to their direct reports. It's the quickest way to see how your team is tracking without running a report.

How to open the Team Dashboard

  1. From the left-hand menu, open Dashboard.
  2. At the top of the dashboard, use the switcher to choose Team Dashboard.

The Team Dashboard option only appears if you have direct reports. You can switch back to My Dashboard — or to Company Dashboard if you're an Owner or Admin — from the same switcher.

What's on the dashboard

Along the top are four summary cards, scoped to your team:

  • Learnings In Progress — your team's learnings currently underway.
  • Overdue Learners — learnings past their due date.
  • Completed Learnings — completions, with a comparison against the previous period.
  • Learnings Not Started — assigned learnings not yet begun, with a period comparison.

Below the cards, the Daily Active Users chart shows your team's activity with the average in the heading. It's hidden if there's no activity to plot.

The Team Learning Progress table

The bottom of the dashboard is the Team Learning Progress table — your direct reports and their assigned learnings. You can:

  • Filter by status using the tabs (All, In Progress, Not Started, Overdue, Due in 7 days, Completed), each showing a live count.
  • Search, sort by column, and page through the results.
  • Use the row actions (the menu) to Change due date or Delete learning where you have permission.
  • Export the table to CSV — see the separate How to Export the Dashboard Learning-Progress Table article.

Things to keep in mind

  • The Team Dashboard is scoped to your direct reports. For the whole platform, Owners and Admins can use the Company Dashboard.
  • The summary cards are driven by the table's status counts, so they stay in step with the tabs.
  • The Daily Active Users chart only appears when there's activity to show.
  • This dashboard is only available when the dashboard is enabled for your platform.

FAQs

Why can't I see the Team Dashboard?
The Team Dashboard only appears if you manage people (you have at least one direct report). If you don't, you'll only see My Dashboard.

Does it include people outside my team?
No. The Team Dashboard is limited to your direct reports. Owners and Admins who want the full picture can use the Company Dashboard.

Can I change or remove a due date from here?
Yes, via the menu on a table row — but only where your permissions allow it. Completed learnings can only be deleted by Owners and Admins.

Who can do this

The Team Dashboard is available to Owners, Admins and any user who has at least one direct report (typically a Manager or People Manager). Users with no direct reports are redirected to My Dashboard, and Restricted users don't have the dashboard at all. Row actions (changing a due date or deleting a learning) are further limited by your permissions on the assignment or Pathway; completed learnings can only be deleted by Owners and Admins.
